BIOLIN SCIENTIFIC LAUNCH NEW PRODUCT BRAND

Biolin Scientific introduces KSV NIMA, a new brand for monolayer science products. KSV NIMA is a result of merging products from thebrands KSV and Nima , two product lines focussing on deposition and characterization of thin films.

Biolin Scientific AB (publ) of Sweden (“Biolin Scientific“) has merged two of its product brands, KSV and Nima, and now launches updated products focused on the deposition and characterization of thin films under the new brand KVS NIMA. During the autumn KSV NIMA will introduce a renewal of the product range combining the strengths of KSV and Nima. The rebranded product line is modernized and with improved functionality.

Products and Technology

KSV NIMA’s product portfolio covers analytical research instruments for deposition and characterization of thin films, and aims towards both academic and industrial customers. KSV NIMA focuses on Langmuir and Langmuir Blodgett Troughs, a field that has gained interest with the recent increase in interest around nanoparticles and monolayer research.

KSV NIMA product portfolio also include interfacial shear rheometer instruments , unique instruments providing highly sensitive viscoelastic measurements of fluid interfaces under controlled packing conditions, used in e.g. the development of smart functional surfaces; and FTIR reflection spectrometers (PM-IRRAS). These have developed very favourably during 2010.
