Visualization of monolayer films can now easily be performed using the KSV NIMA BAM or the Micro BAM that employ the technique of Brewster Angle Microscope to detect changes in the refractive index of the water surface in the presence of surfactant molecules. This is useful for determining the homogenity of compressed monolayer films, domin sizes shapes and packaging behavior.
