Biolin Scientific and BioLogic have entered into a strategic partnership to strengthen and simplify access to advanced EQCM-D solutions for researchers working at the forefront of electrochemistry and surface science.
As investment accelerates in batteries, energy storage, advanced materials and other electrochemical technologies, researchers increasingly need to understand not only how an electrochemical system performs, but also what is happening at the electrode surface as those processes take place.
By combining Biolin Scientific’s expertise in QCM-D with BioLogic’s expertise in electrochemistry, the partnership will bring together two complementary technologies and areas of scientific expertise. The aim is to make it easier for researchers to connect electrochemical measurements with changes in mass, structure and mechanical properties at interfaces.
For customers, the collaboration will also provide a more streamlined experience, from solution selection and purchasing to installation, application support and ongoing service.
“Our customers are increasingly looking for ways to connect high-quality electrochemical data with a deeper understanding of what is happening at the surface,” says Susanna Laurén, Product Management Director at Biolin Scientific. “By working more closely with BioLogic, we can bring together two complementary areas of expertise and make advanced EQCM-D research more accessible and easier to implement.”
BioLogic adds: “Suggested: This partnership allows us to combine our electrochemistry expertise with Biolin Scientific’s leading QCM-D capabilities, giving researchers a more complete view of processes taking place at electrochemical interfaces.”
Enabling deeper insight at electrochemical interfaces
EQCM-D combines electrochemistry with QCM-D, enabling researchers to correlate electrochemical events with simultaneous changes taking place at the surface.
This is particularly valuable in research areas such as batteries, electrocatalysis, corrosion, electrodeposition, biosensing and advanced materials, where understanding interfacial processes is essential to improving performance, durability and safety.
Through the partnership, Biolin Scientific and BioLogic will combine their technology, application expertise and support capabilities to make advanced EQCM-D research easier to access and implement.
