As is well-known, redox reactions taking place on the electrode coated with plasmonic nanostructures influence the plasmon resonances. However, very little is still known about the possible influence of plasmon resonances on the course of redox reactions. The kinetic of potassium ferrocyanide redox reaction on plasmonic working electrode surface was studied in dark and under illumination with white LED diode. The electrode was formed on the ITO substrate by Langmuir-Blodgett deposition of gold plasmonic nanoparticles. The multipoint analysis of chronocoulograms recorded at various potentials was performed to obtain the power exponent in the generalized Cottrell equation. This parameter of redox reaction has been shown to be dependent on both the illumination of plasmonic electrode and sampling sequences. The results point to an apparently smoother surface for the electrode under illumination. Two distinct apparent fractal dimensions were observed, both of them dependent on the illumination.
