Synthesis of Novel Organosilicon Gemini Surfactants

A series of organosilicon gemini surfactants was synthesized from gamma-(2, 3-epoxypropoxy) propytrimethoxysilane, hexamethyldisiloxane and polyethylene glycol. The target compounds were confirmed by IR, H-1 NMR. Surface properties of the target compounds were measured. The critical micelle concentration values of 1-3 were 8mmol, 5mmol, and 3 mmol, respectively.
