In this paper, the reliability of the light-curing method is demonstrated for the first time, and this technique is applied to the high-pressure field. The liquid distribution pattern of the filter material under high pressure is found for the first time, and the liquid film on the surface of the filter material gradually becomes thinner and the jump pressure drop gradually decreases as the pressure increases, and the saturation of the filter material gradually increases. It was found that at high pressure, the surface tension of the droplets decreased, which changed the distribution of the droplets on the fibres and enhanced wettability of the filter media. This finding helps to study the mechanism of the degradation of filter performance under high pressure and thus guides the design and manufacture of the coalescing filter for high-pressure applications.
