Typical electrochemical measurements include cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. In combination with QCM-D, which gives real-time monitoring of mass and viscoelastic changes, this enables the following experiments to name a few:
  • Expansion/contraction of polymer films
  • Nucleation and growth of polymer films
  • Electrostatic interactions with (bio)molecules
  • Membrane potential measurements

QSense Explorer Microscopy is also a great system for QCM-D analysis of light or irradiation sensitive processes that may not require microscopy studies.

The QSense Explorer Electrochemistry requires a separate potentiostat. Contact us for guidance on compatible potentiostats.
